Contrast Constructions builds, replaces and refurbishes quality boardwalks and bridges, our workmanship attracting major clients including leading Queensland developer Stockland.

Contrast Constructions offers a whole service package incorporating design, engineering and building of boardwalks. Our biggest boardwalk project to date has been 3200 square metres of deck, as well as 400 linear metres of stairs, planter boxes and specialised hand rails for the Calypso Bay construction at Jacob’s Well.

Following various projects for Brisbane City Council and the Redlands and Pine Rivers Shires, we are currently refurbishing boardwalks at Sanctuary Cove, where we have been contracted for all future boardwalk projects.

When building boardwalks and bridges, Contrast Constructions only uses the highest quality materials. That’s why we supply our own timbers, using the toughest hardwoods to ensure our work passes all legislative requirements.

From March 2006, the Queensland Government introduced new laws relating to CCA treatment. As Contrast Constructions’ hardwoods have always been treated in an environmentally sound manner, we were already more than prepared for this legislation.
